- Contact a local Green Builder
- Priority 1 — Become a zero carbon (ZC) household (putting the onus on the utility company to be ZC): go all-electric — heating, appliances, range, cars, etc. Improve insulation, doors, windows.
- Priority 2 — Become as close to Zero Energy as possible: generate your own power and heating, typically with a photovoltaic array (simplest and most cost effective)
- Consider ride sharing for commutes (check apps)
